Studies

[-] During the period 01.10.2002 - 30.06.2010 he prepared his PhD thesis at University Politehnica of Timisoara in cotutelle with University Nice-Sophia Antipolis. He obtained the PhD diploma in the engineering domain and computer science field after a collaboration with professors from Jyvaskyla Finland and Bonn Germany.

[-] During the period 01.10.2001 - 30.06.2002 he attended the master program of the Automation and Computers Faculty from University Politehnica of Timisoara and he obtained the master diploma in computer science and software engineering.

[-] During the period 01.10.1996 - 30.06.2001 he attended the bachelor program of the Automation and Computers Faculty from University Politehnica of Timisoara. After the graduation he obtained the engineer diploma.

[-] During the period 15.09.1992 - 30.06.1996 he attended the Informatics studies program of the Emanoil Gojdu High School from Oradea. After the graduation he obtained the analyst-programmer diploma.

Professional Experience and Jobs

[-] During the period of 28.02.2011 - present he has the position of senior lecturer at University Politehnica of Timisoara located in Piata Victoriei no. 2, Timisoara, Romania at the Faculty of Automation and Computer Faculty, Computers Department. He leads the laboratory works for the following disciplines: i) Data Structures and Algorithms; ii) Programming Languages Fundamental Concepts; iii) Formal Languages and Compiling Techniques. He gives lectures of: i) Computers Usage and Programming; ii) Compiler Design (in English for master students); iii) Programming Languages Fundamental Concepts (in English for bachelor students); iv) Heuristic Methods (in English for master students). Has has in his task list the followings: i) to conceive and develop research projects; ii) to publish scientific works; iii) to organize Alexandru Rogojan and ACM student programming contests; iv) to organize the 3 written license exam sessions.

[-] During the period of 27.02.2014 - present he is a volunteer software engineer at the Energetic Studies and Design Institute ISPE, Timisoara in the development of a software project for the centralized materials management.

[-] During the period of 28.02.2011 - present he has the position of senior lecturer at the Ioan Slavici located in Timisoara, Romania Paunescu Podeanu Street no 144. He gives lectures and leads the laboratory works at the Operating Systems discipline.

[-] During the period of 14.03.2011 - 31.12.2013 he had the class B expert position for the elaboration of an adaptive software in the framework of the project "Increased performances for the preuniversitary students" having the 64320 identifier and the value of 19.893.606,11 LEI or the equivalent of 4.680.848 EURO.

[-] During the period of 01.10.2004 - 01.10.2006 he was consultant at Alcatel and Deltatel companies from Timisoara, Romania, where he gave lectures and lead the laboratory works for the configuration and administration of the Unix operating systems and for software development in Perl programming language.

[-] During the period of 01.05.2005 - 01.08.2005 he was researcher having the role of principal investigator in a project developed at Signals and Systems Institute from Sophia-Antipolis I3S, France. He developed a reverse inheritance class reuse mechanism for Eiffel programming language.

[-] During the period of 01.05.2003 - 01.08.2003 he was researcher having the role of principal investigator in a project developed at Signals and Systems Institute from Sophia-Antipolis I3S, France. He developed a reverse inheritance class reuse mechanism for Java programming language.

[-] During the period of 01.10.1998 - 01.10.2001 ha was software developer at Okko Software SRL Company, located in Oradea, Gradinarilor Street. He designed and developed applications in C, C++, Java programming languages for educational and financial domains.
