About DCTI

Welcome to the Department of Computer and Information Technology, one of the elite departments of Politehnica University of Timisoara.

Started in 1966, DCTI is the first academic department in Romania in the computing area.

The mission of DCTI is to educate top level specialists in the field of computer and information technology, for all the academic levels - engineering, master, PhD and postdoctoral, as well as to produce and transfer advanced knowledge to society, through scientific research, development, result dissemination and implementation.
