The Department of Computer and Information Technology is organizing a periodic workshop, dedicated to presenting and discussing current research projects and topics in the area of interest and expertise of the department.

Specifically, the event on Monday, November 24, has the following actions:

  1. General presentation and status update of the Research Center in Computer and Information Technology - CCCTI UPT
  2. Presentation of current or recently finalized R&D projects and grants which involve DCTI members, including the following: HRIA - Hub-ul Roman de Intelignta Artificiala and RoNaQCI - Romanian National Quantum Communication Infrastructure
  3. Presentation of the R&D interests and projects of the IT Department, Faculty of Technical Sciences Cacak, University of Kragujevac, Republic of Serbia
  4. Discussion of new research ideas, interests and opportunities for the near future

At the workshop participates Dr. Eng. Danijela Milosevic, as a Visiting Professor at the DCTI.

 

Dr. Eng. Danijela Milosevic is a professor of information technology and systems, and the Head of the IT Department, at the Faculty of Technical Sciences Cacak, University of Kragujevac, Republic of Serbia. She was the Dean of this faculty during 2018-2024 and Vice-dean during 2015-2018. She was the Director of the Cacak Technology Park during 2013-2014.

Dr. Milosevic is an expert evaluator at the European Research Executive Agency since 2025, a permanent member of the Learning Agency Network (LANETO), based in Bruhl Germany, since 2011, a permanent member of the European Foundation for Quality in e-Learning (EFQUEL), based in Brussel, since 2011, founder and president of the Balkan Network for Distance Education (BADEN), and Chief Editor of the BADEN newsletter, since 2012, as well as an external expert for the accreditation of study programs for the Ministry of Education, Montenegro, since 2012.

Dr. Milosevic’s research interests include e-Learning, intelligent tutoring systems, user modeling, eLearning, artificial intelligence in education and semantic web. She is author or co-author of over 100 scientific papers, 11 patents for invention, 4 student textbooks, and has been involved as coordinator or team leader in 42 R&D projects and grants.
